3004 Aluminum Foil

3004 Aluminum Foil is becoming more and more popular as a food container material. In fact, 3004 is added with Mg on the basis of 3003, so 3004 aluminum foil has higher mechanical properties, such as tensile strength and elongation. In addition, 3004 aluminum foil also shows excellent punching, machining, forming, corrosion resistance and other properties. Therefore, it becomes the perfect material for single-cavity food containers.

Alloy 1235 is actually aluminum foil commonly used in household food, medical packaging, adhesive tape and so on. As we all know, 1235 alloy belongs to the 1 series pure aluminum alloy. Therefore, 1235 foil has the advantages of light texture, silver-white luster, ductility, plasticity, barrier properties, economy, etc. It is practical and economical!

8011 is a series of aluminum foil products. It belongs to the 8××× series of alloy aluminum foils. It is added with Al-Fe-Si elements. The alloy properties of more than 1% of the total alloy elements have correspondingly higher advantages. 8011 is commonly used to make aluminum household foil, its performance is better than pure aluminum foil, and it is widely used in aluminum foil.

Aluminum foil is a very thin aluminum sheet with many alloy states, 8011 8079 8006 1235 3003 3004. The thickness ranges from approximately 0.006 mm to the upper limit defined by ISO 0.2 mm (200 microns). It is produced by first rolling a heated steel ingot (hot rolled) into a coil with a thickness of between 2 and 4 mm. The coil is then continuously cold rolled to the required foil thickness.

The second foil rolling method, namely continuous casting, bypasses the ingot casting stage and directly converts the molten metal into a thick strip, which is immediately rolled into a coil, and then the foil is rolled from the coil.

In order to obtain the thinnest foil, two layers need to be rolled at the same time. This "double-rolling" causes the difference between the two surfaces-matte and polished-during double-rolling, the matte surface is the inside. Then separate the two layers of aluminum foil. The resulting large coils are cut to the required width for further processing for the required end use-flexible packaging, foil containers, lidding foils, household foils, heat exchanger foils, laminates of insulation materials, etc.
